The much-loved monthly cinema club at Kimpton Blythswood Square Hotel & Spa is returning this Father’s Day - with a licence to thrill whisky lovers and film fans alike.
On Sunday, June 21, guests are invited to begin the afternoon with an expertly crafted whisky cocktail, setting the stage for a cinematically nostalgic event.
The event will see attendees enjoy a guided two-dram tasting with the knowledgeable team from Scottish whisky distillery The Dalmore, offering the opportunity to discover the character and craftsmanship behind the renowned Highland single malt. Special edition bottles will also be available for purchase, perfect for any collectors.
As the lights go down, guests can settle into the hotel’s boutique, 44-seat cinema for a screening of the classic James Bond film The Spy Who Loved Me (1977), starring Roger Moore.

While this Father’s Day celebration is a highlight, the hotel’s cinema nights are a regular fixture, with more lined up throughout the rest of the year, including the club’s next event - the Summer of Love Cinema Club in August.
