From Halloween fright nights to festive favourites, Kimpton Blythswood Square Hotel & Spa, Glasgow’s only AA-accredited five-star hotel, is inviting fans to cosy up for a season of big-screen entertainment, with its private cinema hosting a series of special screenings throughout autumn and winter.
Kicking off the seasonal programme, the hotel will turn up the fright factor with its Halloween Cinema Club on Saturday, October 31, offering film fans the perfect excuse to swap a traditional Halloween night out for a nostalgic evening of 90s horror.
Starting at 7pm, guests will be welcomed with a spooky cocktail and complimentary popcorn before settling in for a screening of cult classic ‘I Know What You Did Last Summer.’ Tickets can be purchased for the Halloween hit here.
Set in a quiet seaside town, the 1997 slasher follows four friends bound by a dark secret that refuses to stay buried. As anonymous threats become deadly encounters, tension rises and trust begins to unravel in a film packed with suspense, twists and classic jump scares.
Then, as October gives way to the festive season, the hotel will swap spells for sleigh bells as its much loved Christmas Cinema Club returns with a selection of festive favourites throughout December.
The seasonal programme will bring the magic of Christmas to the hotel’s private screening room, with guests able to settle in with classic films including Miracle On 34th Street, The Holiday, Die Hard, The Grinch, Love Actually, Home Alone, Frozen and more.
The hotel’s Christmas Cinema Club has become a festive favourite, combining much-loved movies with the cosy atmosphere of Blythswood Square and seasonal treats – making it the perfect option for friends, families and festive date nights looking for something a little different this Christmas.
