Vue wanted to welcome colleagues back to its big screens with a bang. The business had key messages of safety and reassurance to deliver regarding updates and operational changes following lockdown. Most importantly for a brand with experience at the heart, we wanted to excite employees ahead of their return. Our challenge was to find a way to inform, inspire and generate that excitement to 3,000 employees simultaneously – all working from home and many on furlough – ahead of the brand’s reopening.
We partnered with Markettiers and Through The I to deliver a live, virtual, internal communications event, made to look like a cinematic big screen experience. The event, which was broadcast to 3,000 Vue employees in their homes across the country, ran like a TV show and was fronted by a live host.
A highly produced shoot took place in a Vue venue ahead of time to capture top notch footage of Vue’s spokespeople.
This content, which formed the agenda for the event, was pushed out ‘as live’ and anchored by the live host. Polls and a live Q&A with the spokespeople made for a really inspiring and engaging event.
Of course, nothing beats that true big screen experience but this event started to sprinkle the magic getting everyone excited about the imminent return to Vue.
