Last month, Laura, Peter and Jodie from our London team attended the Menopause Awards with our client Aspire Pharma Ltd 💛
Epimax was shortlisted in the Social Media category for a campaign tackling a conversation that doesn’t get enough attention - the link between eczema and menopause.

With very little research previously available, we led the development of a nationwide survey alongside the National Eczema Society, hearing directly from over 700 women experiencing menopause. The results were eye-opening:
✨ 1 in 4 experienced eczema for the first time during menopause
✨ Only 28% knew menopause could impact skin health
✨ 87% wished they’d known sooner

Beyond the physical symptoms, many shared the emotional toll, from feeling self-conscious to stressed and fatigued.

Those insights helped shape expert advisory with the National Eczema Society and fuelled a social and PR campaign designed to inform, support and spark real conversation.

Work like this goes beyond awards. It’s about visibility and making sure women feel heard and understood.
