The Daffodil Hotel & Spa, located on the shore of Grasmere Lake in the heart of the Lake District, is offering one lucky couple the chance to win their big day.
The four-star hotel, which is part of the Crerar Hotels Collection, is relaunching its wedding offering and giving couples the opportunity to get married on the stunning shores of Grasmere – with one couple set to win the wedding they’ve always dreamed of.
To celebrate the new offering, the popular wedding destination is giving away a wedding valued at £8,300 to couples who are willing to share their love stories and the reasons why they deserve to win. The couple can apply themselves or can be nominated by family and friends.
Nominations are open from 1st January until 31st March 2026 when one lucky couple will then be chosen by a judging panel and notified by The Daffodil Hotel & Spa.
The winning couple will work closely with the hotel’s events team to plan their special day and can opt for a 2026 or 2027 wedding* with up to 65 guests, with the option to add more guests on at an additional cost.
The prize also includes a toast glass of prosecco per person, a three-course wedding meal, half a bottle of wine per person served with dinner, a glass of prosecco for the drinks reception as well as evening snacks. On top of this, the bride and groom can enjoy staying in a senior suite on the night of their wedding with 12 additional rooms available for their guests to book at a reduced rate.
Furthermore, the hotel has also partnered with Deborah Maria Wedding Styling, and as part of the package, the couple will also win £300 worth of décor hire to help dress the room of their choice, in a way that suits them and their big day.
The Daffodil Hotel & Spa can cater for intimate gatherings or for more lavish ceremonies for up to 150 guests with an additional 50 guests at the evening reception, ideal for those looking for a contemporary yet luxe venue for their big day.
The location has everything couples might be looking for in a wedding venue, especially in regard to iconic photography, as it offers a spectacular backdrop of natural beauty as well as the tranquil waters of the lake.
