This July, we have been very busy tiger-bees supporting some fantastic causes! Our very own Shaun Keeney completed a marathon 24-hour twitch gaming live-stream to raise funds for eating disorder support charity, Beat!. Shaun ‘Nintendo’d’, ‘Playstation’d’ and ‘Game Boy’d’ his way to raising a monumental £1,183 so far, with donations being collected until the end of July. A charity extremely close to Shaun’s heart, Beat! endeavors to end the pain and suffering caused by eating disorders by providing life-saving support to those who need it. These funds will go towards funding the Beat! helpline, online workshops and chatrooms. An estimated 1.25 million people in the UK are known to have an eating disorder, so raising these funds for Beat! really does go towards saving lives. We are incredibly proud of Shaun’s courage, endurance and tenacity in raising money for such an incredible cause.
