One of Aberdeenshire’s most beautiful venues, Thainstone House, is set to welcome engaged couples to its upcoming wedding open day at the stunning 18th-century location.
The VOWS award-winning hotel, which is located in the picturesque town of Inverurie, is hosting the free event on Sunday 21 September 2025 from 12-4pm, offering couples the perfect opportunity to envision their wedding at the classic venue.
Guests will have the opportunity to explore the hotel and its lush grounds, meet local wedding suppliers and discuss wedding packages with the event team over a complimentary glass of bubbles and delicious canapés.

For those planning a larger celebration, the ballroom within the venue is a grand space that can accommodate up to 150 guests for the ceremony and meal. Meanwhile, those looking for something a little more intimate can opt for the Laird’s Room, which sits 14 or the Drawing Room, accommodating up to 40 people.
